BUT WHAT IS ECO LEATHER?
Eco leather is made from the remnants of "normal leather".
When cutting patterns for furniture, car seats, coats, etc., residues remain. These residues are mixed with recycled leather from furniture, leather jackets, car seats or sofas.
This leather consists of 70% real leather and 30% polyester. The polyester layer covers the leather, protecting the leather and preventing unevenness, after which a new material is made of it. The so-called ECO or recycle leather.
When using eco-leather you are working sustainably and you contribute to a better world, but eco-leather also has a number of advantages:
This makes the material particularly easy to keep clean. ECO Leather is easy to clean with a damp cloth.
Leather is more sensitive to moisture than ECO leather. With leather, moisture can sometimes leave an ugly spot.
This is not the case with ECO leather, because this material does not let moisture through.
ECO Leather is durable and wear resistant.
