Many drivers wanted to safely charge their AFERIY Portable Power Station while driving, without a high-power 230V inverter, additional auxiliary batteries or a costly installation.

🔥 Safety in the Truck Cab Comes First

When a battery is used every day inside a truck cab, safety is an important consideration. That is why LiFePO4 technology (Lithium Iron Phosphate) has been chosen.

LiFePO4 technology is known for its high level of safety and good resistance to overheating.

The PROLINE AFERIY Truck Power Kit also features a Battery Management System (BMS) that monitors the battery and helps protect it against overloading, over-discharge and other abnormal operating conditions. A well-designed BMS and suitable charging equipment are important components of a safe lithium battery system.

Traditional inverter installation or PROLINE Truck Power Kit?

Connection to the 24V electrical system

For safe charging of the PROLINE AFERIY Truck Power Kit, we recommend connecting it via the truck's fuse box.

Preferably, use a free, permanent 24V fuse rated at a minimum of 20A. This keeps the original electrical system protected and allows the charging cable to be connected easily and removed again when necessary.

If no suitable free fuse rated at a minimum of 20A is available, the charging cable can be connected directly to the 24V battery. In this case, always use a separate 20A fuse holder and install the fuse as close to the battery as possible.

For the connection, we recommend the PROLINE XT60 Truck Charge Kit with undervoltage protection. This protection prevents the truck's starter battery from being discharged too deeply.

Important: Always check that the 24V connection, wiring and fuse being used are capable of supplying at least 20A continuously.
